We believe fashion is a form of self expression and that designing clothing is a form of art. We recognize the ways that fashion production can negatively impact the planet. Our mission is to digitize everyone’s wardrobes to make clothes more wearable, shareable, searchable, re-sellable via our virtual closet app. By doing this, we’re giving forever visibility on items that go from one person’s wardrobe to another – keeping them out of landfills and helping you to shop more sustainably. With this visibility, we ask people to be more thoughtful about their purchases. When we see what we have, we buy less of what we don’t need and rewear more often.
The easiest way to digitize your wardrobe
Other closet organization and resale apps can have a massive barrier to entry. Storey makes creating your virtual wardrobe as easy as possible with our suite of automated tools. Forward order confirmations from you email inbox directly to us at receipts@storeytheapp.com, install our browser extension to detect when you’re on a checkout page and forward the items to your wardrobe, use our Gmail integration that will scan your inbox for any receipts.

With your entire wardrobe in the palm of your hand, you can browse your closet and make informed purchasing decisions. Our members report that Storey helps them to purchase less duplicate items and to be more mindful when shopping.

We'll use the actual items from your wardrobe to recommend daily outfit ideas. We keep your pieces at top of mind so you don't have to. Our app's native features like collages, collections, and Moments help you discover cool new ways to rewear, and re-pair items together that you may not have thought of. Create OOTDs, capsule collections, and post outfit selfies to plan for trips, daily looks, packing, and...life!
Pass your items on to someone else
We’ve already done all the work for you! With access to your entire wardrobe from right inside our app you can easily list an item for sale with one tap. We’ll also provide an estimated resale value amount so you know exactly what to charge. Once purchased by another Storey user, the item will transfer from your wardrobe to theirs, keeping visibility on its journey through circularity.
